Geany – Free Text Editor

A nice free text editor, Geany is a small and lightweight integrated development environment. It was developed to provide a small and fast IDE, which has only a few dependencies from other packages. Another goal was to be as independent as possible from a special Desktop Environment like KDE or GNOME. So it is using only the GTK2 toolkit and therefore you need only the GTK2 runtime libraries to run Geany.

Geany has many good features sush as syntax highlighting, code folding, code completion, auto completion and more…

Hi !
I use geany with python. Is good. I like Edit -> Format and console .
I create one shor video tutorial and i will make more.
This is usefull when i run some python scripts $python script .
I don’t like icon from geany is so disney stuff .
